Good Monday Morning, everyone!

I hope you all had a great weekend! We were in Austin for the latter part of last week and got back just in time to get to a party on Saturday night. Let me just tell you that “Moldgate” was no fun at all! The mold remediation team delivered most everything that could be salvaged to our daughter’s new condo, but we still ended up tossing some items that we were nervous about.

Most of her costly furniture was ruined, so we will start all over again (slowly). Her clothes have not made it back yet, so she had to keep mine to travel with. You know, as bad as this is, it’s not as horrific as what those poor people in California are going through. It’s all about perspective. Today’s post is how “polka dotty” I am for the Nordstrom sale and this polka dot dress!

I’m not sure if you’ve been to a Nordstrom lately or gotten online, but I am here to tell you that there are some great deals right now for you and for purchasing Christmas gifts. I spent about two hours yesterday looking at the sale. I have to tell you that this polka dot dress is the cutest dress I’ve bought in a while. Honestly, I love that it is a wrap dress, but it fits like a dream. It is made of a featherweight mesh tule that resists wrinkling, which makes it a pretty perfect dress for so many occasions. I wanted to be a little more whimsical than usual and added the lavender faux fur.

Can you believe I got this last week with every size still available and it is now sold out? I found this fun color faux fur that would look just as great with this dress.

Great gift ideas from the Nordstrom Sale

I am so happy that the Nordstrom sale is happening right now with Christmas shopping started. It’s a great time to start picking up some gifts, and you can have them wrapped at the store! I thought this bar cart would make a great gift for a newlywed couple or a child moving into an apartment.

How cute are these trinket dishes from Anthropologie at Nordstrom? They would make such a sweet gift, and they are under $10! I love Anthropologie’s Capri Blue candle, and it’s on sale too and in a green and red glass jar with an etched lid. I don’t know why I love this bath mat so much, but I do and think I will get it for my guestroom bathroom. Who wouldn’t want a fuzzy throw for Christmas? This one is called “fuzzy wuzzy” for a reason!

This chenille scarf is an excellent gift for any girls you need gifts for. Chenille is so soft, and the price is right! My son is a huge fan of Jack Mason watches, and there are a few on sale that would make a great gift as well. Fine jewelry is always better if you can find it on sale. I think this Bony Levy diamond pendant necklace is beautiful. One last thing that I will be ordering is the Me Glow Beauty Set pillowcase and eyemask. I cannot sleep without one of these pillowcases. They are good for your skin!

Nordstrom is always a go-to for purchasing for myself and others.
