How to Stay Stylish with Ivory Denim
Hi ladies! I hope all is well in your neck of the woods. I have been busy trying to learn a few new things that are not easy for me in the platform (tech) world. Learning new things can be time-consuming (it reminds me of how I felt in school, haha!)! I’m having to get some help and taking lots of notes. In between all of this, I have been so caught up in the whole Royal scandal world, and what has happened to Kate Middleton, have you? WTH??? I’m convinced the latest video of Kate and William released yesterday at the Farmers Market is fake. There are Christmas decorations in the background. And, if she cannot do Royal duties, why was she walking so fast and carrying bags? Hmmm…. Today, Heather and I wanted to show you how to stay stylish with ivory denim.
I love white denim in the spring and summer, but ivory denim has become a favorite for all-year-round wear. However, it can be a little tricky to style. Let me give you a few tips on how to style ivory denim easily.
- Neutrals are your friends: Cream, beige, tan, and khaki create a sophisticated monochrome look. Think chunky knit sweaters, crisp blouses, or relaxed linen shirts.
- Black with a twist: Black can be a classic pairing, but avoid plain black tees. Opt for a striped sweater with an ivory background or a black top with interesting textures like lace or ruffles.
- Denim on denim: This can be tricky, but be sure the denim washes are clearly different. Pair your ivory jeans with a dark denim jacket for a casual yet polished look.
- Pop of color: Don’t be afraid to add a vibrant pop of color! Jewel tones like emerald, sapphire, or even a bright fuchsia can work well.
I also recommend playing with proportions. Try balancing a straight-leg pair of jeans with a flowy top, or wear a wider-leg pair of jeans with a more fitted top. Dress up ivory jeans with a blazer and heels, or wear them with a tee or button-down and sneakers for every day.
What Heather and I wore:
I wanted to keep the neutral theme but threw a “pop of color” tank under the bone-colored jacket and neutral shoes. We both are wearing Clinch belts. These belts have interchangeable straps and a gorgeous gold buckle that goes with everything! I have bought almost every color strap!

Heather is wearing a classic straight pair of jeans, a white bodysuit (similar), a blue reversible denim jacket, and silver sandals.
I wanted to show one more ivory denim look with a pop of color. I wore this outfit to pick up Heather and completely matched her building’s hallway! We had to take a picture! I am loyal to several denim lines (because they just fit me right), and AYR is one of them. I love the style and fit of these jeans, and, for the life of me, I do not know why they are on sale.
