GINGHAM SHIRT

Good Monday Morning! I made it through last week, and my grand children did too! Guys…I don’t remember how hard it is to raise children! I am exhausted from just the back and forth of diaper and “costume” changes! It was so much fun listening to what my three year old grand son has to say, and why is it that little kids have the biggest ears? I could whisper something, and I promise he heard every word! Our little grand daughter is almost two, and is just starting to talk a little bit, but boy she definitely can scream!!!  It was  such a fun (and at times, harried) week, but I am glad the parents are back in town! I am so looking forward to the middle of this week. I am going on a “blogger” mini vacay that I can’t wait to share with all of you! It includes a spa, so you can see why I am excited about it (Granny needs some TLC!)!

Why do I have an obsession with checks and stripes? If you walk into my closet, the two cover about half of it. There is just something so summery about them. I love gingham, (any color mixed with white) particularly the tie-front shirt I am wearing, because it always look classic. Think Doris Day in her gingham, Kate Middleton here, or Audrey Hepburn. I mostly wear the check on a shirt, but I do have a pair of gingham pants HERE, that I love. Are you all as obsessed with it as I am, and do you wear it on the top, bottom, or both? I think it looks fresh either way! I’m sure you all have to be sick of seeing this Clare V clutch because I show it all of the time, but I swear it goes with just about everything! I abide by the rule, that cheetah or leopard prints are always a neutral!
