Happy Thursday, friends! Well, we are one day closer to another weekend. Can you believe Father’s Day is this Sunday? It seems like a minute ago, it was Mother’s Day. What do you all have planned? This is going to be a bittersweet Father’s Day for me. It’s sad not to have a dad to celebrate, but I will be honoring the memory of him. I do, however, have some other dads in the family that need to be celebrated. We will have a small family dinner, which is becoming pretty standard around here. Today, we are going to talk about hair!

I keep asking the question, why does aging have to be so hard? Our bodies change, our skin becomes drier, our bones get brittle, we can’t lose the five pounds as quickly (or at all), and our hair gets thinner. Don’t you think it should be easier the older you get instead of harder? We’ve paid our dues! I have found a fantastic new line of hair products that helps our hair as we get older. The shampoo is specially formulated to be safe for color-treated and aging hair. It’s free of parabens and infused with biotin, known to support healthy and fuller-looking hair. The conditioner is the first one I’ve used that doesn’t weigh my hair down but gives my hair hydration and fullness. It is also safe for color-treated hair and has biotin in it as well. The third step in this volumizing regimen is the hair thickening treatment. After I comb out my wet hair, I spray about 10-15 pumps at the root to around my ears, then massage in.

Can I tell you how amazing all of these products smell too? My husband doesn’t comment on the scent of my hair very often, but he has lately. He has said that my hair smells so good and like a coconut drink. I am obsessed with the smell.

Doesn’t my hair look as thick and voluminous as it did back in my 30’s?

We are thinking about making a trip to Terrell, Texas, tomorrow to Ham Orchard to buy peaches. We have
never been but heard the peaches are fabulous. We are sort of peach snobs because we got spoiled living in
Alabama and having access to Chilton County peaches every summer. I hope the peaches from Ham Orchard
are good. I have to have peaches in the summer!
