Happy Friday! I hope you all have had a good week! This week flew by for me. I got to attend a cool fashion show last night featuring Prabal Gurung and Miron Crosby. It was held at the Mansion on Turtle Creek under a tent. The show started with four horseback riders riding in and standing beside the runway. I felt like I was at a New York show, except with the horses, knew I was in Texas! We are headed to my nephew’s football game tonight (weather pending). He is a senior at Highland Park High School, and this is one of the only weekends we can get to a game. On to the focus of today with Chic at Every Age. We are featuring this chic dress that has a price point you won’t believe!

Chic Dress At An Amazing Price Point?

When we plan our Chic at Every Age shoots, we always take into account price point. We all have different demographics and try to appeal to everyone’s budget. This dress is has a chic retro feel and a bit of shimmer. It comes in the cinnamon color that Heather and I are wearing and the beautiful blue that Natalie and Sam have on. Okay…wait for it…this dress is $59! It’s a great dress for cocktail parties or luncheons, and of course, I would add a jacket or a chunky sweater (like Natalie did) over it to dress it down and of course boots. If you all have dresses that are hanging in your closet that you don’t wear because you might not like the way they fit on the top, add a sweater over it, and it changes the whole look.

Personal Must-Have

This dress is a no-brainer if you like it because of the price. I am one that is always low on dresses and when I need one, have to scurry around to find one in a hurry. It’s nice to have an arsenal of dresses so that you are ready to go. There is a short sleeve version here, but I personally like the one we are wearing.

It’s starting out as a rainy day in Dallas which is so lovely because it is pleasant outside. I hope to get a little work in and then I have a gazillion errands. I feel like such a loser because I have birthday and wedding gifts that I have not mailed off that have been sitting in my trunk for weeks. Does anyone relate to that? I hope to get that accomplished today!

Have a great weekend, and I hope if you are a football fan, your team wins! xx
