CUTE OUTFIT FOR TRANSITIONING INTO FALL
CUTE OUTFIT FOR TRANSITIONING INTO FALL
Happy September! Can you all believe that fall is literally right around the corner? It seemed like March and April would never end, and now here we are, the summer over and going into fall. Gosh, time flies by so fast. I hope you all had a great weekend! I had my friend, Kathy, in from Nashville. And it was so good to get to spend a lot of time with her. She was in town trying to furnish her middle son’s apartment, and I went along for the ride. I love home shopping! After finishing his place, we got extreme tunnel-vision on redoing an upstairs den in my house (my husband was not thrilled about this!). Now I have a bee in my bonnet to do it, and it entails getting rid of everything! My brain is swirling, trying to figure out how to pull it off!
Today, I wanted to show this cute outfit (well, I think it is) that is great for transitioning into fall.
This fun puff sleeve top by Current Air (one of my favorite brands of late) is super on-trend without being overwhelming. Sometimes I think the puff sleeve look can appear too massive. This top can be worn with jeans, skirts, and pants of all kinds. I love the feminine and flirty style of this pull-on skirt. I would throw on a pair of boots and an oversize or cropped (not too cropped) sweater when the temps begin to lower. And I would also love a black or white tee with this skirt and a denim or moto-style jacket. For reference, I am wearing an extra small in both pieces.
I’m finally carrying my new girl (Chanel bag) that I have been saving since I bought her in July (transitioning her into fall). Every July, when my cancerversary rolls around, I buy myself a nice gift. This year, I bought this bag. I wanted something different from my other bags. And I fell in love with this one and the black hardware. I do not know why I do it, but I am continually buying black bags. I would have loved it had this bag come in a camel color. But no such luck. Black, it is, and she is pretty!
I am helping my mom figure out what to move to her condo today.
Can you believe her furniture is still sitting in that assisted living building? We are going to be moving her in a few weeks and need to have a game plan on what she will be using. Hmmm…I wonder if she will take my furniture in the den I want to redo? So I am going to figure this out because where there is a will, there is a way!!!
I hope you all have a great day! Stay well! xx
