A JUMPSUIT SO SOFT YOU COULD SLEEP IN IT
Good Morning, friends! I hope you had a great weekend! We did zero, zip, nada this weekend. I am getting just a little bit stir crazy over here. We have the opportunity to go out in Dallas, but I think we are so used to being home now that we can’t figure out what to do! In Covid news, my mom, brother, and sister in law are just getting over it. We have been nowhere near them since they contracted it on New Year’s Eve. Thankfully, everyone is doing better but still coughing and experiencing fatigue.
A JUMPSUIT SO SOFT YOU COULD SLEEP IN IT
I received a jumpsuit so soft you could sleep in it (at a great price point) from a brand new to me, called Mauby. You guys, this jumpsuit is heavenly! It is so stinking soft made of Lyocell, and I could wear it every single day! It comes in washed black (like mine), olive, and a spice color. Now, I know many of you don’t like jumpsuits because of the pee factor, and I get it, but this is such an easy throw on, and all you have to do when you pee is make sure that you hold the top part. I added a turtleneck under the jumpsuit for winter, but I will wear it in the spring without. Mauby also sent me this pair of pants that are so comfortable as well. I am so impressed with the brand!
I guess you all have seen the quilted bags and shoes from Bottega Veneta.
And I love them, but I don’t love them enough to spend the money on them. However, I did find this fabulous bag from Stand Studio that gives the same kind of quilted look for a fraction of the price. This bag is roomy enough for all the “stuff” I carry, and I think it is super cool looking.
I also snagged this pair of Golden Goose sneakers recently.
I love all of my Golden Goose but let this pair slip by. And usually, how it goes, they sold out. I have looked for this pair for a year, and they finally came back out, so I grabbed them. I love the leopard print and have worn these almost every day for the last month. And I know Golden Goose is pricey, but they are so worth it to me. There are some dupes (and here) that you can find, but I’m not promising comfort like with the real deal.
Have you all seen Imposters (Netflix)? We are just finishing it, and it is so good! We also finished Bridgerton (I had no idea that it was basically softcore porn). I love a good period piece, especially one based in England, so I thought we should watch it. I did love it, except I think they could have done without the porn part (especially on the stairs in her family home. If you know, you know!). We are looking for another series to start. We have watched ALOT of them!
It’s weight lifting day for me, then back to more closet cleaning. I have such an interesting life! :))) I hope you all have the best day! P.S. Cute sweater below alert and under $100!

Guess it’s time to stop following your blog after you said this… “We have the opportunity to go out in Dallas, but I think we are so used to being home now that we can’t figure out what to do!” Then you talk about so many of your family that have Covid from New Years.
How ignorant. Just cause we CAN go out and are not locked down in the DFW area, does not mean we SHOULD. Have you seen our numbers? Do you know you can carry the virus to others? You might be the cause of someone’s illness or death. I see you traveling places and people traveling to you. Then you take them out in Dallas!
Oh well. The Pandemic has definitely revealed people’s level of intelligence.

Kellly,I think the pandemic has revealed people’s level of kindness. Your remark was seriously nasty.

Kelly….the world being what it is right now, there is absolutely NO need for your nastiness. I’m sure when Cathy goes out, she, her family and their guests follow the rules that our local governments have set forth. If YOU feel the need to stay inside, then stay inside. If there are those that you know that are immunocompromised and are worried about catching COVID, then they should stay out of public areas also.
There are no guarantees of any sort in this world. People have the right to decide what is right for them. YOU, however, don’t get to tell others how to live their lives.

Hi, Pam! Bless you!!!! You are exactly right about the way we go out and are together. We have been following all of the rules and honestly don’t go out very often. I do want to help support our favorite restaurants and shops! To call me ignorant when she doesn’t even know me is hateful, and I appreciate more than you know that you took the time to comment to her! You are the reason I write this blog! I hope that most of us are like-minded enough to be kind and loving toward each other! I don’t understand people that sit behind a computer and tear people down! Thank you again from the bottom of my heart!!!! xoxo

Hi, Beth! Thank you so much for your comment! As I said above to Pam, it’s women like you that keep me writing and sharing on this blog. I read Kelly’s comment and thought, I would NEVER in a million years write that to anyone. I just wanted you to know that I appreciate you backing me up. I know that I am putting myself out there, but I guess I never thought I would get hateful comments because I would never do that to anyone (believe me, I’ve thought about it but would never act on it!). Anyway, thank you so much for your kindness, and know how much it means to me! xoxo

We are all “on edge” these days. I wrote a nasty comment to Cathy a few weeks back and as I thought about it I realized I was just lashing out because I hate how our world is these days! I apologized.
None of us likes this but if there was ever a time to temper our emotions, give people some slack, this is it!

Love you so much!!!!!!

I appreciated that apology so much too! I absolutely agree with you 100%! Thank you, Becky! xx

You are SO welcome! You are SO right…we truly must learn to be kind and loving! Life is hard enough without people being ungracious to those they don’t know for no reason!!
And, I’d like to thank you for your fabulous blog! It truly lightens my day!
