BLUSH AND BOYFRIEND
Hey everyone! I was a little slack on posting last week, but I I had such a busy week that I just didn’t have time to sit down and do it. What I did do, was I got to meet Charlotte Tilbury (makeup artist to the stars) and sit with her for an hour (saving for another post), which was AMAZING! I also went to a essential oil class taught by a woman in Dallas who has studied essential oils in France for years, and who imports her oils from there. It was a two hour class, but I need about a hundred more. I am so fascinated by it! I co-hosted an event at Calypso St. Barth this past Thursday night that was so much fun. Every time I walk into that store, I wish for a beach trip to some fabulous island. Their home pieces are amazing too! Look at this rug I am dying for!
I have been in such a better mood with spring finally warming me up, but it has still been a little cool at night. That is why I am loving this cashmere sweater I recently found in Nashville. The peachy blush color is gorgeous. I know I will wear it all through the summer, as I always get cold in restaurants and movie theaters. I bought these white boyfriend jeans at the same time. I have several pairs of blue denim boyfriend jeans, but wanted a pair in white. I really like these, because they are not too baggy as some boyfriend jeans can be. Still wearing my booties to keep my freezing purple toes warm. And, I am not carrying anything but cross body bags for a while. I have the worst tennis elbow (laugh you friends of mine that know I have never picked up a tennis racket in my life!!!)! I think it is a “handbag” injury…all in the name of fashion!

I’m not usually much of a fan of the pastels, but I absolutely love how you took this combo and “roughed it up” a bit with the boots and the bag. Looks great! I may need to copy this one.
