Happy Hump Day! How is your week going so far? I had so much fun yesterday with my daughter in law and granddaughter. My granddaughter’s 3rd birthday is this week, so we met up to shop for “princess dresses” and shoes. It was a hoot! She already knows what she likes, and it is definitely pink! We ended up with several tiara headbands, three pairs of shoes, dresses, and the “princess dress.” We went to the Disney Store, and it was major overload for all of us! Little girls are so fun to take shopping!
I am so happy to be partnering up with Nordstrom today to show my fall uniform. Of course, you all know that I am a big fan of Nordstrom. They always have what I am looking for, and if they don’t, they can almost always find it for me! This is one of my favorite looks for every day during the fall. The sweater is from Madewell and is such a cute and lightweight sweater for running around in. It has a patchwork pattern and comes in a cream color too. There are so many cute sweaters in the store right now (love this one too!). I am hoping for cooler weather in Dallas so that I can break them out on the reg!
I wanted a pair of floral velvet booties, but when I went to look for them, they all seemed a bit on the “loud” (sound like my grandmother) side. The print on the pair I am wearing is more subtle, which I liked. I think they will look great with anything in my closet. They are by a Spanish brand called, Hispanitas. I had never heard of them until my chiropractor told me about the brand about a month ago. She wants me in good supportive shoes that won’t make my back hurt, and she recommended them to me. One of the sales associates at Nordstrom showed them to me, and I was so excited they were Hispanitas. Anyway, they are very comfortable and fit under my skinny jeans.
Speaking of skinny jeans…I am not a huge fan of the high-waisted ones. They remind me of “mom” jeans I wore in the late 80’s. I wish I could remember where I read it (probably Who What Wear) but I read that AYR makes the best fitting jeans. I knew of the brand but probably wouldn’t have tried on their jeans if I hadn’t read it. Well, now I am hooked on the fit. They are worth a try-on, and the high waist is growing on me a bit.
Have a great Wednesday! xx
Thank you to Nordstrom for sponsoring this post.
