I hope you had a great weekend. We survived another babysitting weekend with only a few bruises and fights (not the kids… haha, just kidding!). Now that the cool temperatures are here to stay (hopefully), in Dallas, I am embracing all of fall! Fall is my favorite season of the year because of the colors and fall fashion. I don’t get excited about spring fashion as I do with fall. There is something about plaids, big cozy sweaters, beautiful coats, boots, and stunning accessories that make me love fall fashion so much. That’s why I love having Transitions lenses incorporated into my fashion-forward rectangular frames.
I love the fact that I can take any glasses frame I have and put Transitions lenses in them.
We all should be wearing sunglasses to protect our eyes while we are outside from UV light. Did you know that your eyes can actually get sunburned even in the winter months? The harmful blue light from the sun emits over 100 times the intensity of electronic devices and screens. Also, cumulative damage from harmful UVA and UVB radiation can contribute to severe eye conditions or diseases of the eye and the eye area. Chronic UV radiations exposure has been linked to cataracts and may contribute to age-related macular degeneration. Transitions lenses block 100% of UVA and UVB rays and help reduce exposure to the harmful blue light whether you are inside or out. Transitions lenses automatically adapt to changing light and protects your eyes while doing so.
Because I love fashion and fall fashion is my thing, I love that Transitions lenses can be paired with any frame I like so that I can look stylish but know that my eyes are being protected. Transitions lenses are available in so many frame styles from aviator to the popular cat eye that I saw in every store when I was in New York a few weeks back. The Transitions lenses from the 80’s and 90’s are not the same Transitions lenses of today! They are available in gray, brown, graphite green, and mirrored to create whatever look you are going for!

My favorite trend for the fall has to be leopard print. I’ve loved leopard print forever and have always had a little piece of it in my wardrobe or my home. Honestly, I don’t know why it goes away and comes back because it is a classic print and a neutral. I’m so glad it is back with a vengeance this year. I love this skirt from Zara with the pleats and grosgrain tie. Also, I love big chunky sweaters and boots mixed with skirts for fall, and that is precisely what I did with this outfit. I’m so happy that I had Transitions lenses put into my fashion forward Gucci frames. I think they pull this outfit together successfully as a great accessory!
I hope you have a great day! Don’t forget to protect your eyes!
Thank you, Transitions Lenses, for sponsoring this post.
