FAVORITE NEW TOP WITH SO HEATHER
Happy Friday Everyone! I hope you all have had a great week. Today, I am teaming up with my sweet (and very HOT) friend Heather, of So Heather. It was such a treat to shoot with this girl because we are such good friends and she is like my little sister! We picked out our favorite tops from Purple Poppy and were wearing them on this windy day in Dallas. Purple Poppy is a boutique in Cape Cod (Mashpee Commons) but has a great website selling brands like Bailey 44, Only Hearts, 525 America, Endless Rose, and more.
I love the color of the all over lace top I am dressed in by Endless Rose (I am wearing a size small). This is a brand that makes the cutest and most affordable clothes. You might remember the sweater that I wore here, that is from the same brand. The color of this top is so gorgeous, and I think appropriate for any age. My twenty-nine-year-old daughter saw it in my closet and loved it! It is the perfect Spring top!
I chose to pair the top with my dark jeans to make that light blue pop, but will also wear it with my white jeans, which will be so pretty for warmer weather. I am also wearing these adorable silver crackle block heel pumps from Zara, which are only $59 and are quite comfortable!
I have been in Hermosa Beach, California all week and am heading back to Dallas in a bit. I came to work on a project with Chicos and some over 50 bloggers. We shot a video yesterday that took the entire day, and was so much fun! I can’t tell you how much I have enjoyed making new friends through this blog. It has been such a gift to me! Now I am ready to get home and rest up! I hope you all have a great weekend!
Thank you so much to Purple Poppy for sponsoring this post!

I have just discovered your blog and I’m enjoying it! Living in Atlanta, warm weather will be here soon and I struggle with dressing for the summer weather for the many days I spend at the baseball fields watching my kids. Most moms wear shorts and tshirts or tops but at 50, I don’t feel that confident in shorts. Teach me thy ways! Thank you!!!

Hi Dawn! I am so glad you discovered the blog! Thank you!!! I have spent a lot of time in Atlanta, and it is very much like Dallas weather. I hear you on not wanting to wear shorts! I feel the same way! I still have friends that are in their late 50’s that still wear them, but I just can’t. I would suggest getting some long tank style dresses (can add a tee underneath), or some flowy skirts to wear with tanks or tees to the ballfield. I would go to Target, Forever 21, or Zara for inexpensive ones that you don’t mind getting dirty or sweaty!
Thank you so much for your comment and for reading the blog! xx
