Happy Hump Day! Is it boiling hot where you are? The heat has finally settled into Dallas, and it truly feels like a Texas summer. I can usually handle the high temperatures, but it’s been very humid on top of it, and I find it miserable. I don’t even want to go outside, and it hasn’t even made it to 100 degrees officially! Today, though, I wanted to show you all the cutest golden yellow dress that is anything but mellow from Walmart. Yes, this whole outfit is from Walmart!
Remember the color Golden Yellow
I want you all to remember this golden yellow color because you will see it in the fall as well. Mixed with white, turquoise, pinks, and blues, these are the colors that look fantastic with the golden yellow in the summer. Come fall, I would mix this color with navy, brown, pumpkin, darker greens, and purples. Think of what looks good with fall Mums. Anyway, this is an easy breezy dress to wear right now (and you won’t believe the price!). It has spaghetti straps and a self-tie (another big trend for fall). I wanted to throw something fun on top and found this great leopard print denim frayed jacket. Do you all think I am obsessed with leopard prints? I also think a denim or white denim jacket would be just as cute.
I have found some fabulous pieces from Walmart
How cute are these yellow wedges that would add a pop to any outfit? They are from Vince Camuto and so comfortable! I have them in a neutral color as well. I love these wedges too! Walmart has such fun summer bags that buying a few was a must for me. I thought the one I am carrying was so cute with the dress. Okay, get this, the sunglasses I am wearing are Gucci! These were ordered right off the Walmart website! Yes, you can get designer fashion pieces from Walmart, even fine jewelry! I could go on and on about what you can find at Walmart. I do, however, want to mention that Walmart has great luggage for all of your summer travels too!
I wanted to give you an update on my puppy. She was diagnosed with pneumonia on Monday. We started two strong antibiotics, and yesterday, she seemed much better. She will be taking them for four weeks. The vet said that she probably aspirated while eating or drinking. Monday I was a basketcase! I am feeling much better about her now! We have been so busy with the grandkids, getting them ready for camp in the mornings and getting them there and REMEMBERING to pick them up! I know I did it all for my own three children, but I forget how hard it is. Maybe it’s just because I’m old now and it seems like a lot! I hope you all have a great Wednesday!
Thank you to Walmart for sponsoring this post
