HAPPY MOTO JACKET

A Happy Orange and White Moto Jacket

Hi there! How is everyone? I am still trying to catch up from last weeks beach trip to Rosemary Beach! It was so much fun, but every time I leave town, I get further and further behind on commitments and life. We are having a party at our home in less than two weeks, and I still don’t know what we are doing! Anyway, today, I am showing the happiest looking gingham moto-style jacket from Ann Taylor (The jacket looks like Chanel and Harley had a baby!), and it’s 40% off at checkout! Ann Taylor has changed a lot in my opinion. I used to think it was geared for work wear and church clothes, but I am finding the cutest things every time I step foot in the store! I paired the jacket with another happily printed shirt from Rails that can be worn to fun events all summer long.

When I first bought the jacket, I wasn’t sure what to wear underneath, but the more I started playing with some prints, the more I liked it. You can always throw solid white, orange, or chambray tops underneath, but I thought the print would add a lot of fun to it. I would also wear this top or this one too! The wedges are old as the hills, but these are a great option if you want to go the orange route. White jeans are perfect to wear with the jacket and how about pairing it with a denim dress? Sometimes we have to think out of the box!

We get the grandchildren tonight through the rest of the weekend. They are out of school and mother’s day out, so we will be looking for things to do. I have their nanny coming to help me a little bit so that I can get out and do a few things that are on my calendar. I also have a friend staying here over the weekend. I have warned her!

I had to repeat a blood test yesterday that I will be anxiously awaiting the results. Every visit I have to my oncologist for checkups requires my blood being drawn for a cancer antigen marker. Last month I had it done, and it came back higher than it ever has. It still is under the 30 number they want, but it came in at 20. I have always been between 12 and 15 (even while having cancer). I am hoping that it was just a lab error, but if you are so inclined, I would love a quick prayer or positive thoughts! I am going with the lab error in my mind. I will, of course, let you know when I find out.

PS…Just got the results and they are down to 15.3! Yay!!!
