HAPPY NEW YEAR!
I hope all of you had a very Merry Christmas! Boy did it get here fast, and leave fast! We had such a great time with our family and my daughter-in-law’s family (we always have the best time when we all get together!!). I loved seeing Christmas through my almost three year old grand son’s eyes! It was so much fun Christmas Eve, preparing him for Christmas morning. My daughter-in-law’s dad, dressed up as Santa, and was out on the front lawn waving to him. He went radio silent, then started yelling that Santa was there! We watched as he got his mom to put out the cookies and milk for Santa, before going to bed.
The next morning, we high tailed it to their house, to watch them come down the stairs to see what Santa had brought. It was more fun watching the expressions and hearing them squeal! Our little grand daughter is just fifteen months, so she kind of bopped around! My son’s family is usually in Florida with the in-laws, but this year they stayed put. It may be the one and only Christmas I get to see the little kids on Christmas morning, but it was so worth it!!!
We will drive back to Nashville on Wednesday and spend New Year’s Eve with a few good friends at home. I am not a huge NYE person, so having dinner at someone’s home is my favorite way to ring it in. You are looking at my very casual and cozy look for the night. How crazy are these ? I saw them on a friend and had to have them. I also found this really cute collared sweater with lace at Reese Witherspoon’s new store in Nashville, called . I have already worn it a ton! I found the necklace at a store called Hero in Nashville. It was a lot of necklace for not a lot of money (love it when that happens!). What are you wearing for NYE?
I don’t know what you are planning or hoping for in the coming year… I just hope it’s all good! I want to wish all of you a very HAPPY AND HEALTHY year! After all, that’s really what’s the most important! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
P.S. eat your black eyed peas!!!

Cathy, have a happy new year and a Merry Christmas! Your remarks regarding spending Christmas with your grandchildren made me think of how much I like spending the holiday with my granddaughter, who lives in Denver and is very far away! However, I celebrated Christmas early with them. Enjoy Christmas with the small ones. Nothing superior! buckshot roulette
