Good Morning Everyone! I am so excited to be partnering with my favorite department store, Nordstrom on the blog today! You all know that I love Nordstrom and denim, but sometimes I want to switch it up with a pair of pants, like these Rag & Bone plaid pair. Menswear is a significant trend this Fall with pants, suits, jackets, and blouses. Plaids just scream Fall to me too! I have always loved Menswear, but when I wear the jacket and pants together, it can be a little bit overwhelming on me.
I have a hard time finding pants that fit me correctly. I am long waisted, and most pants are cut too short in the stride for me, giving that all too dreaded CT (you know what I’m talking about!). These pants are Rag & Bone’s best-selling pant in Menswear Glen plaid (also in solids, a stripe, and leather HERE ). They fit like a loose legging, with a zipper in the back and work with my long torso. Personally, I like a little longer sweater or tunic style top over them. They are just a fun alternative to wearing jeans every day.
I also wanted to share this Kate Spade scarf with you all in the first photo. It’s such a cute cheetah print, and I thought it was fun mixed with a menswear plaid. It was hot the day we shot, and grandmom was having a hot flash, so it had to come off, but it’s so cute! The black sweater is updated with the side slit (worn with a tank underneath) and will be super cute with a button down peeking out now that the cool weather is finally here! And, can I tell you that I have almost worn these Gucci slides out! I am minutes away from having to have them re-soled. I know that they are little more pricey, but considering I wear them almost every day, they have more than paid for themselves. I keep thinking about the velvet slides with the fur. Do I really want them? I heard last week that this is the last season that Gucci will add the fur. They may be a collector’s item…Just saying!
Thank you all so much for reading the blog! I sure do appreciate you! xx
Thank you to Nordstrom for sponsoring this post!
