Happy Friday! I hope it’s been a great week for all of you! I will be frantically running around today to get ready to head out tomorrow. My daughter is in California for a bit, and we are going to visit and celebrate our granddaughter’s first birthday! I can’t believe a year has gone by so quickly. That child has my heart in a big way, and the connection between us is undeniable. I’m so excited to see her!

ACCESSORIES AND JEWELRY PICKS FROM THE NORDSTROM SALE

I wanted to show you my accessories and jewelry picks from the Nordstrom Sale today. So, today the sale opens to the public (meaning non-cardholders), and things will get snapped up quickly. I will be honest with you, I look at the jewelry every year during this sale, and it all looks the same. I think there are some great buys, especially if you are in the market for a watch or a nice pair of earrings. One of the best items yearly (in my opinion) are these cubic zirconia earrings. They honestly look real, and I don’t think you can tell the difference between them and the real deal.

My husband has asked me if I want a pair of diamond studs for our anniversary, and I honestly don’t because I have several pairs from Nordstrom, and I don’t think anyone can tell the difference. Remember, it’s a great time to grab birthday or Christmas gifts. As far as accessories go, a few things caught my eye. I only picked things in both categories that I liked or would buy. I will also add a few picks from Home at the bottom of this post. Also, I wasn’t very impressed (to be honest), but I added what I did like.

So, I think most women love sales and get caught up in their frenzy. I would take the opportunity to stock up on basics and designer pieces that you love. Boots are always a great purchase during the sale too. And as I said above, a great opportunity to grab some gifts. You can check out my previous posts on clothing and beauty picks.

I am so excited to get out of this heat for a few days. It would be nice to come home to cooler temps, but it doesn’t look like the 100-degree weather is going anywhere for a while.
