FLORAL SLIP DRESS: MUST HAVE TRANSITIONAL PIECE
Good Morning, everyone! How was your weekend? We had dinner at one of our favorite places here, called Lover’s Seafood on Friday night. We love sitting at their bar for dinner. They have a huge screen TV and usually have an aquarium channel on (it’s a seafood place, of course, they do!). They changed the channel and had the programming on animals and the sea. The show was about the most venomous animals in the world. The Box Jellyfish I learned, is the number one most deadly animal, killing prey or humans in a matter of minutes. Why am I so concerned about this? Because these jellyfish live primarily in coastal waters off Northern Australia and throughout the Indo-Pacific. My son and his fiance are going to Bali in two weeks after the wedding, and I am a little panicked about these scary jellyfish being there. Do y’all worry about crazy things like that or is it just me? I know it’s silly to worry about things you can’t control, but I had never heard of them or knew that fact. I am wacko!!! The rest of the weekend was so fun keeping the littles! They giggled a lot! Today though, we are going to talk about the slip dress.
Floral Slip Dress
I love a good slip dress because they are super versatile! I think they look adorable paired with tee shirts and sneakers or dressed down since most are made in a silky fabric, and the juxtaposition is fun. If I wear one without a tee underneath, I will wear a cardigan or jacket on top. I think they look great with boots and a chunky sweater on top too. If you want to dress one up, a pair of strappy sandals and a tuxedo style blazer is such a beautiful and classic look. There are so many ways to wear a slip dress that they are definitely an item that should belong in your closet. The one I am wearing is from AG jeans. It comes in the floral, but also in some gorgeous solids. I bought the XS but kind of wished I had gone up a size. If you have a larger chest, definitely go up! I have picked out my favorite slip dresses and have them shown below.
