Hello ladies! I hope you all had a wonderful Mother’s Day weekend! You all will never believe what happened to me on Friday! I went to the dentist a few weeks ago and had an appointment with the endodontist to see about a tooth (the bottom back one) that had already had an old root canal. The x-ray showed a little shadow (that turned out to be an infection), so I was sent back downstairs to the oral surgeon. Before I knew it, I was in the chair on Friday morning, being knocked out and having that tooth pulled. NOTHING has made me feel older! Don’t old people with bad teeth have to have teeth pulled? Haha! I might fit that description. My husband says he should have checked my mouth like you do a horse before marrying me! My mouth is full of crowns, cavities, and root canals! Anyway, I was out of it all day Friday and woke up Saturday to a lovely (short-lived) stomach bug I think I caught from my daughter-in-law.
To top this off, I can’t eat anything of substance for two weeks. I can, however, eat “old people” food, such as applesauce, pudding, smoothies, baked potatoes, and soup. Mother’s Day this year will definitely be a memorable one. While my family was at our house brunching on a feast and drinking champagne, I was drinking water (no alcohol for a week) and eating yogurt. Isn’t there an old wives tale that says you lose a tooth for every child? Well, I have three, and I hope this is the only one!

I’ve rounded up FIFTY dresses below that would be fabulous wedding guest dresses. I have tried to stay under one thousand dollars, but you all know that’s challenging. I was also challenged by how many appropriate (until they are not) dresses have cut-outs or are too sheer. When will the cut-outs go away???
