TIE-DYE MAXI DRESS

Hi, everyone! I hope you all are doing well! I got back from LA on Sunday afternoon, and let me tell you that I was (kind of still am) exhausted. Also, I did not rest or relax one bit and could not sleep at all. The beds were pretty comfortable, so I don’t know what was up with me except one night. I had talked to my husband before we left to go to dinner, and he told me what had gone on in our house that day. Long story short, the room we are enclosing had to have some brick put on the outside of it, and somehow the brick dust got in and covered our bedroom.

When I went to bed, that was all I thought about (having to clean that room when I got home)! We couldn’t have had better weather in LA, making walking around and eating outside so lovely. One thing I did notice that was different from the last time I was there was that if you are a pot smoker, you can literally do it anywhere! We smelled it everywhere we were, and I think I was high the whole time (just kidding)!

TIE-DYE MAXI DRESS

I did not take this tie-dye maxi dress with me, but I should have because it would have been the perfect piece to wear! I’ve written about ba&sh before and how much I love their pieces, and this dress is one of them. Bohemian-style dresses are my favorites. It has a sack-like floppiness that looks good as is or belted. I wanted to give it more structure, so I added this adjustable leather belt. I bought the sandals a few weeks ago for my summer sandal but have already worn them several times. I know they are pricey, but I will wear them all of the time when the weather warms up for good. I also adore this crocodile embossed bag from Staud. You will be seeing a lot of this too! The white hose I have on is just my legs (haha)!!!

 I am in the middle of a colossal closet clean-up and have never done one this large. I’ve decided to let go of pieces that don’t make my heart soar. It’s hard to do, but I don’t have a big closet, and I feel like I’m suffocating. Better to move it along and let someone else enjoy it.
