60 GIFT IDEAS FOR VALENTINE’S DAY
Happy Weekend! I hope you all had a great week. I don’t know if you saw here, at the bottom of the post, where I said I felt like I might be getting sick. Well, I did! I’ve been in all week with a non-productive cough (that hurts so bad) and a day of fever. I usually don’t get down, but I am so tired of getting sick! I never got sick before my first run-in with Covid, and since then, my immune system has been shot (at least that’s what I’m blaming it on). I’m taking everything to boost it, but if anyone else has experienced this and has found something that helps, please let me know. On the bright side, I’ve done a major closet cleanout that I have been wanting to do.
Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, and I have rounded up 60 gift ideas for you ( yes, you can buy your own gift) or others you want to give gifts to. I’m not the biggest fan of wearing hearts, but there are some adorable items with hearts on them. I think the loaf pan (below) is my favorite. I want to bake my friend Sara’s Poppyseed Bread and give it in that pan as a gift!
I hope you find something fun for someone special!
POPPYSEED BREAD
3 cups All-Purpose Flour
2 3/4 cups Sugar
1 1/2 teaspoon Baking Powder
1 1/2 teaspoon Salt
3 Eggs
1 1/2 cups Milk
1 1/2 cups Oil
2 tablespoons Poppyseeds
1 teaspoon of each- Almond, Vanilla, and Butter Flavoring
Mix all together and blend for 2 minutes. Pour into 3 greased floured loaf pans. Bake at 350 for 55 minutes.
Make a glaze with:
1/4 cup orange juice
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon of each flavoring above
Boil, simmer for 5 minutes, pour over each loaf, and cool.
It’s YUM!!!!!
Have a great weekend, everyone!
Be well and Stay safe! xx

Cathy,
I just love following you and hearing about not only fashion, but about your health and my favorite thing to discuss are handbags. I really love looking at which Chanel or other designer bag you will carry. I keep saving mine for my granddaughter and I need inspiration on using my nice things, especially handbags !! Life is so short.
I have noticed how you are sick so much. (You and your husband!!)
I’m just going to suggest to you…. Wear a good mask( a medical mask) until this sickness stops. And then keep wearing it in situations like airplanes and airports, anywhere there are a lot of people.
The mask really did save me ( and my husband) from getting Covid. I only wear the mask now when I’m at a doctors appointment, or on planes and at the airport.
Anyway , think about wearing a mask as much as possible , especially when you travel. You do travel a lot.
Hope this helps.

P.S.
We’ve also had every Covid vaccination that’s been offered.
Now it’s gone to seasonal shots once a year, every Fall, just like the seasonal flu shot.
But the mask really does help.
Good Luck.
I hope it gets better.
