VALENTINE’S DAY GIFT IDEAS
VALENTINE’S DAY GIFT IDEAS
One // Two // Three // Four // Five // Six // Seven // Eight // Nine // Ten
Well, hello and happy Friday! I don’t know about you, but I am so happy that today is the last day of January. I felt like January was three months long. I tend to hibernate in January, and I am ready to get out of the house. Tomorrow is February 1 and the beginning of the month of love! Not only is it Valentine’s Day month, but I have two family loves that have birthdays in February. My youngest son and my grandson are both Love month babies!
Today, I wanted to give you some ideas for Valentine’s Day gifts. Whether you gift your significant other, your girlfriends, children, or maybe yourself, I found some fun things that will make great gifts. I also think gifting a massage, manicure, or facial make great Valentine’s gifts. There are always flowers and CHOCOLATE (dark Dove for me, please)!
I love this pretty plum-colored (non-stretch) charmeuse skirt with the frayed, handkerchief hem (size XS). I bought it to wear on Valentine’s Day. I may wear it with this camisole and longer blazer, but I thought it looked fun and comfortable with the black and white sweater (size XS but could do an XXS too) and the new combat boots that I am obsessed with. I have my outfit; now we need to figure out what we are doing.
I have had one of my besties here from Alabama for a few days. We have been friends for about 34 years now. We have gone to dinners, shopped, and had reflexology. I am sad she is leaving today. We have dinner plans with friends tomorrow night, and then I suppose we will be watching the Super Bowl on Sunday night. I can’t wait to see the half-time show!
I hope you have a great weekend and thank you for reading!

Back when your children were small you always gave them swimsuits for Valentine’s Day! You usually had someplace warm lined up for spring break, and those new suits came in handy. I assume you’re talking about JK’s visit to you. I never see her, but then it was different when our children were the same ages.

i love your style and your blog, but this outfit is a definite “miss,” not a hit. Sorry, it just doesn’t work. When do we get to see your “new” neck??

Thank you for the comment, Monica! I’m sure I am a ‘miss” a lot of the times.
