A SHIMMER SLEEVE MILITARY JACKET
I am so glad it is Friday! It has been A week! We came to Dallas earlier this week to celebrate our grand daughter’s first birthday, but have been at the hospital most of the time with my dad. He had surgery for a blocked artery in his leg, and he is having a tough time with recovery. We have moved him to a rehab hospital, so hopefully he will be on the mend soon!
I am in love with military jackets this fall (the traditional green/brownish ones)!!! I know I am repeating something I wore in a different decade, but I really like them and am going with it! I went nuts over this shimmer sleeve version I found at Anthropologie. I have the Current Elliotand the J. Crew , but have yet to see one with sequins until now! It’s still so casual, but with such a fun twist! Military styles and anoraks are classic pieces, and I am crazy for the “swing” back on this one. I love them mixed with camo prints, light and dark gray, navy, burgundy, chambray, and black. Try dressing one up with heels and a blingy necklace too, for a chic juxtaposition. Have a great weekend!!!

Hi Cathy,
Truly sorry to hear about your Dad. I’m sure he will feel better soon.
He must be very much like his beautiful daughter……A fighter.

Hope you have a lovely week.
