Beautiful photo of the pink sands in Harbour Island Bahamas, right? This is where I am supposed to be this next Monday. We had a trip planned to meet two of our great friends from Nashville. We had planned to relax, catch up, and even learn to surf! How a few weeks can change a plan. Instead, I will be having the Angelina. I found out two days ago, that my surgery is scheduled for July 1.

I go in for my pre-op this morning, and am hoping like hell, that I get a prescription for something to help me sleep over the weekend. We have family in town, for the celebration of our four month old grand son’s christening on Sunday. It should be fun, and also help me keep my mind off of what’s to come.

Monday sounds like an extremely long day, especially for my family. I am to be at the hospital at 8:00, and have a a Lympho Inject at 8:30 ( this is where they inject a dye into your vein, to check the lymph nodes). Then I guess I wait around for a while, because I have a scan at 11:30. The actual surgery isn’t scheduled until 1:00. Apparently it takes about 4 to 5 hours. See what I mean about my poor family?????? We are all ready to get this behind and move forward.

A friend of mine, who is going through the same ordeal, said that I would see little silver linings along the way. I have seen several that have BLOWN me away! My daughter has been with me during these silver lining times, and I looked at her yesterday, and said, if you don’t believe in Jesus, you would have to be crazy!!!!! Everything has been divinely orchestrated from friends, doctors, schedulers, and so forth. I get to meet someone this morning that I know is a “real” angel!

I guess you will get the play by play in a week or so, whether you like it or not! In the meantime, I hope you all have a great weekend and a fun and safe July 4th. Lots of Hugs and Kisses for all of the sweet thoughts, wishes and prayers!!! I truly appreciate and feel them so very much! xx
