I’m a day late, I know! Instead of writing, I had my parents to dinner on Sunday night, and they wouldn’t leave!!! I am not one of these people that can get up early and do it. I have too many issues with the computer and my brain!
Anyway, I hope you are having a great start to the week. The weather in Dallas has been amazing the past few days. I have been walking like I am supposed to and am starting yoga today. It’s been since May of last year that I have “yogied”, so I am sure that I will not even be able to touch my toes. One day at a time!
I met a girl (same age as me) the day I had my biopsy last June. We sat next to each other before our scheduled appointments, and she was already dealing with breast cancer. We talked a little bit and then went our separate ways. I kept running into her in different places around town, and we finally decided that we were meant to be friends. She is having to do chemo again, and asked me to go and sit with her this past Friday. The day before, I was kind of worried about how I was going to react to being back in those rooms so soon after being through chemo myself. It turned out to be the most wonderful day for me! I was so happy to see all of the nurses that had been so kind and rallied around me. And, the farther away I get from the whole thing, I realize how much God had protected me. Can you believe that I really don’t remember much of it (it could be chemo brain, but I choose to believe in the afore mentioned!) I don’t know why I even wanted to tell you about it, but it’s just really cool to see God’s hand in the details of life, and I have been thinking about it a lot!
So about the outfit. Of course it was freezing again the day we shot these, but I wanted to wear this amazing skirt I picked up at Anthropologie. It fits like a glove, and holds you in place too! I bought the shoes last weekend because I didn’t have a nude pump (if you can believe). I love these because they have some spunk to them, and I want spunk! Also notice the bracelet. It’s from Accessory Concierge, which I will be blogging about in the next week. The handbag…is awesome! Remember the name Kelly Wynne as I will be raving about her soon!

I hope you have a great day, and it’s sunny wherever you are! I am off to yoga.
