STILL LOVING THIS SKIRT

How is everyone this Monday morning? I think we were the only people in Dallas that didn’t attend the George Strait Farewell Concert on Saturday night that broke an attendance record! I have seen about a thousand pictures on Facebook and Instagram documenting the evening, and wished I had bought tickets. I didn’t even know it was happening until Friday. I swear I live under a rock sometimes!!! I still had a fun weekend anyway! Saturday night, we went to one of my favorite areas in Dallas called Bishop Arts. It’s an area that is home to boutiques, restaurants, coffee shops, bars, theaters and art galleries. I always feel like I am out of town when over there. We dined at a place called Hattie’s, which we really like a lot. Sunday was spent having brunch with two of our cutest new friends, then dinner with my older son, daughter in law and grand baby! I can not even take how cute he is!!!
I know ya’ll have seen this skirt before (like 4 weeks ago), but I just love it! In the previous post, I wore it to a baby shower and “girled” it up with lace. This time I just needed to run around town, so I paired it with a gray tee (I bought in two other colors while in NYC) and these silver crossover slides from Zara. I also pulled out my “vintage” Elsa Peretti bone cuff, that I purchased while I was in college from Tiffany & Co. Damn!!!! I just looked at the price…I think I paid around two hundred dollars for it. It’s a classic!
I have a really busy week starting today. I am going to “summer school” tonight to learn more about social media…lord knows I need it!!! I have doctors, hair appointments, and meetings with my blog consultant and PR girl about my other business. Whatever happened to the lazy days of summer!?!?
