SUMMER JACKET

I know it sounds crazy to be talking about jackets in the 90 plus degree weather, but I’m going to! I adore jackets, and summer is no exception. I’ve said it a million times, but I am always cold and need something on my shoulders. Have you noticed how cold it is in a restaurant, movie theater or the worst…the grocery store in the summer(exactly why I don’t frequent it, and why there is never food around the house!)? This is why I always have a jacket or sweater with me!

A summer jacket in a light weight fabric is so nice to cover flaws, but can also really pull an outfit together. The jacket that I am wearing above is perforated, allowing a little air to flow through. There are so many cute tanks that I wouldn’t consider wearing at my age, but throw a cute jacket on and it’s possible.

I love this printed jacket! It is great to wear now with white jeans, but I would also wear it in the fall with a dark wash jean, or black silk pants. I also think you should have a denim jacket in your wardrobe, and this one is great. Denim is great to throw over a maxi dress or linen pants. Check out my favorite jackets below.
