WEDDING ATTIRE
I hope you all had a great weekend! We had a very busy one starting Thursday night. I was introduced, along with eleven other women, for Fashion Stars for a Cause. What is that you ask? Twelve women are selected every year to represent Suicide and Crisis Center of North Texas to help raise funds and awareness for this much needed cause. I am so honored to be among the women selected, and to be able to contribute to such a worthy cause (you will be hearing more about this in the next few months!).
I had this dress photographed last week, because this is what I was going to wear to the wedding we attended on Friday night. I love this dress, but switched to another at the last minute. The dress I am wearing is . I love his designs, but not his price tag. I snagged this dress a few years back at . I love it when that happens…you find a dress you love at a discounted price! I have bought several classic dresses that are on rotation for weddings or dressier events. I tend to keep them simple, and change my jewelry or shoes to give them a different feel (probably could have used a spray tan!!!). Anyway, the wedding we attended was the most beautiful event I have been to in a long time. There was so much love and joy the entire night, and we were so honored to be among those who witnessed it. I love a wedding at Christmastime!
Saturday night, we went to dinner with friends at a cool spot at , called The Midnight Rambler. If you are planning on being in Dallas in the near future, I highly suggest a stay at . The lobby is one of the coolest I’ve ever seen, with an expansive collection of original artworks, including works by Andy Warhol, Tony Cragg, Adam Fuss, and Richard Phillips. And, the famous thirty foot tall eyeball sculpture, directly across the street, is also owned by The Joule. I am dying to take a day and try their newly expanded ESPA. Maybe after Christmas?!!!
So, here we are, another week closer to Christmas. I hope you are accomplishing everything you need to do. All I can say, is that my head is spinning, for more reasons than the hustle and bustle of this time of year! That will be for another post.
Have a great day, and shine your light!
