AN EASY MONOCHROMATIC LOOK AND $1,000 NORDSTROM GIVEAWAY
Hello, there! Can you all believe that we are already in August! Where is the time going? Even with the world on hold, time still manages to sneak by at an accelerated speed. It blows my mind! We had a fun weekend. Friday night, we had our youngest and wife over to celebrate them being new homeowners. I didn’t do much during the day on Saturday, except I did start to clean out my closet. And I am trying very had to be honest with myself on what I have and haven’t worn. I have gone through, and if I haven’t worn something in two years, I am parting with it. Saturday night, we had dinner outside with one of our best friends and her boyfriend. It was so much fun that I am not going to drink wine all this week!
Easy Monochromatic Look
Today’s post is an easy monochromatic look that is one of my favorites to wear during the summer months. I love a white or cream blouse paired with white jeans. It’s chic and feels fresh! I know this isn’t an outfit that is anything special, but I do like to find blouses and tops in white or cream that have a little bit of a twist to them. I think this is more interesting than a solid white top worn with white jeans. And I try to wear this monochromatic look as much as possible before September when I am ready to switch it over to fall colors. The blouse is one I picked up at Anthropologie. I’ve done a lot of shopping there lately because my local store is never very crowded. Also, Anthropologie’s prices are always so reasonable.

The white jeans have, of course, been on repeat all summer long. I know it’s acceptable to wear white jeans all year round, but I prefer them in the summer months. And you all know I love this pair! I am obsessed with my sandals and have hardly had a chance to wear them. I bought them in April or May, thinking they would be my summer sandal, but you know the story, and they just don’t get to come out and play much. The color is so good that I can wear them in Dallas through September. Fingers crossed that they will be on my feet then!
