Happy Friday Everyone! The ladies of Chic at Every Age are back again, featuring this great velvet stripe blouse by Paige. I have mentioned a few times how much I love velvet this year! If you don’t have something in velvet, I do think it is a must for your fall and winter wardrobe. You may remember that I did a whole post dedicated to my obsession with it, HERE. We all loved this blouse, because it can be dressed up or down. It is sheer, so I would recommend wearing a black tank underneath, if it is to revealing for you. I wore a black Coobie bra (I love these!) and put the fur vest over it. You can see a little skin, but I didn’t think it looked trashy. I think this is a great blouse for casual wear, but I think it would be so pretty with a pair of black pants or a skirt. If you are a color girl, red pants or skirt would be great too!

One Small Blonde– Brooke looks super cute in all black with the red shoes.

Style of Sam– I love the way Sam paired hers with white jeans, blazer and that great vintage Chanel pin.

So Heather– Heather looks cool with her burgundy coated jeans.

I am probably in route to Dallas by the time you read this. We are out of the house and now onward to our condo. We have two and a half trucks full of stuff! One and a half  is going to storage, and the other to our condo, which is hilarious, because our condo is already furnished! I have no idea where I think this stuff will go. I had the sweetest four women packing me up. They are all in their 70’s (maybe one in her 80’s) and I learned so much from them. They are all widows and have chosen to live life to the fullest. They get up every morning put their make up on and get moving. It’s such an important lesson. No matter what happens in life,  you’ve got to keep living. You are here for a reason! I hope they read this, because spending time with them was such a gift to me! The trucks will get to Dallas on Monday, and we will be Dallasites again!
