WOMAN CRUSH WEDNESDAY- LISA HALE

Hi Everyone! I have been so busy packing this house and exhaustion is starting to set in! I cannot wait to get to Dallas to unload, then rest for a few days (in Florida)! We are in need of a vacay! I haven’t done a Woman Crush Wednesday in a while, but wanted to introduce you to this Georgia Peach… Lisa Hale. I have been following Lisa for a while on Instagram, and just love her “quirky” (in the best way possible) yet classic style. What really got my attention though, was her hair! As you can see in the pictures, it is amazing! Her blog is called The Silver Stylist, and she shows us her fashion sense at affordable prices. She is also very authentic and real in her writing. I haven’t met Lisa in person, but am dying too, and hope it will be soon! I asked Lisa some questions and she was so nice to answer below.

Why did you start your blog?

I wanted to put into words and pictures that a woman’s style is ageless and personal. My career background has equipped me to encourage women to find their life long style/attitude.

What are five items that every woman needs in her closet?

  1. Trench Coat or Leather Jacket
  2. Great Pair of Denim (to fit your body type)
  3. White Button Up
  4. Black Fitted Tee
  5. Classic Pair of Nude Pumps

Are you a shoe or bag girl?

Shoe Girl….Shoes will make or break an outfit.  My eyes always go from head to toes! It’s what we do as women!

What do you think women over 45 should never wear, if anything?

I believe you should wear what you feel great in! With that being said, if in doubt, it’s great to have a best friend(s) who are there to speak truth into your life.

How do you feel about buying trends versus classic pieces?

For me it’s about a blend of both! My wardrobe is 80% Classic, 20% Trends

Are you a heel or flats girl?

Heels, it’s all about elongating my body. Taller, longer, leaner!

What are your skincare favorites?

Right now I’m obsessed with Amore Pacific the whole line, Skincare and Foundation

What’s your favorite Friday night like?

Trying a new restaurant out with my sweet husband in the city. It doesn’t have to be pricey, just new and interesting.

What is your favorite shopping website?

Nordstrom, on the web or brick and mortar hands down the best customer service.

What’s your definition of style?

Style isn’t what you wear necessarily; it’s the attitude that you exude with whatever you have on.

Style is an attitude, not an outfit!
