Happy Friday and Merry Christmas! I cannot believe it’s the first day of December! Yikes!!! My in-laws and sister-in-law, are here staying with us. We celebrated my mother-in-law’s eightieth birthday last night. Both my boys, their wife, and fiance, my daughter and her husband, and my parents went to a new place in Dallas called Bullion for a big birthday dinner. It’s a gorgeous place with French-inspired cuisine. It was so much fun having everyone together! We have dinner again tonight, then tomorrow night driving them around to see the Christmas lights (Dallas does it up BIG with the lights!). I wish it were a bit colder, here! It’s sweater weather, but not really coat weather, which brings me to what the Chic at Every Age girls wanted to feature today…the oversized sweater.
We chose this cute nubby sweater from Free People. It’s oversized with exposed seam detailing and is super cozy.It comes in eight colors for you to choose from. Some of the colors and sizes are on sale here. I will only wear this sweater with jeans or a pair of cozy lounging pants. As you will see, the four of us all had similar ideas.
Natalie- The Fashion Hour– Natalie showed up looking so cute in her black leatherette skinnies, pumps, and cozy beanie. This was the first time we had seen Natalie since she had the baby. I think she looks adorable and motherhood is agreeing with her 100%!
Sam- Style of Sam– Sam’s look is my favorite! I adore how chic she makes everything she wears look. The jeans with the pearls are so fun, and I love them mixed with the leopard pumps!
Heather- So Heather– Chose to wear her sweater with her faux leather pant and boots. I love the color of this sweater!
Me- I can only see myself wearing the sweater with my jeans, which is what I am doing. I added a lace cami underneath, and my velvet Gucci slides with the fur. Either you love them, or you hate them, but apparently, I love them! My feet are always cold, and these keep them toasty warm.
I hope you all have a great weekend and get everything done you need to, or just relax!
