CHIC AT EVERY AGE- GRAPHIC TEES
Happy Friday everyone, hope you have had a great week! I am so jealous if you are on Spring Break and at a fabulous beach somewhere! I want a beach trip right now! Today the Chic at Every Age girls are showing how we wear graphic tees. I remember wearing band tees about fifteen years ago and had a few favorites, like my Rolling Stones shirt. I wore it under a black blazer with jeans to dress it up. Graphic tees went away for a while, but are now back, mostly as statement and political tees (read here). So let’s see how the girls styled theirs.
Natalie, The Fashion Hour (20 something), styled her cute cut out tee with a black denim skirt and booties, looking every bit how I would expect a 20 something to dress. It’s a great look on her!
Samantha, Style of Sam (30 something), looks ever so chic in her Rolling Stones tee under a fuzzy jacket and heels. This look is so Sam!
Heather, So Heather (40 something), is wearing her tee with a black blazer and gray jeans. Just goes to show that that look is still a good one!
I am wearing a tee that I saw in a storefront window in California a month ago. I had to have it because it is so me! The store had the best “sayings” tees, and it was hard to choose because I identified with so many, but this one won out! It says, “I do yoga to relieve stress…just kidding I drink wine in yoga pants”. I paired it with my jeans, a cute embroidered bomber and my Adidas Superstars. Do you all wear graphic tees and if so are they band tees? I wish I had kept my Rolling Stones shirt, but I got rid of it because I hadn’t worn it for years. Shoot! Don’t be afraid to throw one on underneath a jacket or paired with a skirt and blazer. I would even wear one under a slip dress!
It’s supposed to be cloudy, warm, and humid here this weekend. The azaleas have already started blooming, and I bet after the weekend that Dallas will be in full bloom! I hope you have a great weekend and thank you so much for reading!

Cathy, i’m so glad to see this post as i have struggled with should I wear a graphic tee at ‘my advanced age” LOL. I did take the plunge and my favorite is in black with the saying in rhinestones…”Peace, Love and DOGS” I love it and wear it under a black blazer . Thanks for the post. You’re always right on with the information i need.

I would love to wear graphic T’s too … I am in my early sixties, so I am still unsure. But these look GREAT on all of you! Thanks for the inspiration, and I love the embroidered baseball jacket! I am totally into the new Boho revival, with the embroidery, peasant tops, etc … I can do that trend!

I’m a big fan of graphic t-shirts – like you say, they can be worn so many ways. I have a couple of band t-shirts, but I also love ones with embellishments such as sequins for added bling! I really like your jeans and tee outfit with the superstars.

I have been sporting my rolling stone t-shirt for sometimes. Loves how graphic t-shirt jazz up the outfit.
