I am so excited to be partnering up with Anne Fontaine for their Fall/Winter ’17 collection. This couldn’t have come at a better time to show you all what amazing pieces they have for the holidays. Maybe you need a “show top” or a dress for a party you are attending, or perhaps some gift ideas. I am here to tell you that Anne Fontaine has the prettiest collection for your holiday outings. Anne Fontaine is synonymous for the white shirt, as you may remember my post about it here. She believes it is the staple of the feminine wardrobe. The Anne Fontaine brand has become a lifestyle brand through a wardrobe around the shirt with a line of accessories.
I am showing two different looks today. The first is the gorgeous black and white outfit. I wanted to stay true to who the brand is, so choosing a white shirt was my first choice. This blouse is not your average white blouse by any stretch of the imagination! I love the lace with the black velvet trim and the double flounced cuffs (I have on a size 36). It is the ultimate in feminity! I paired the blouse with this pair of black high-waisted, wide-leg palazzo pants in a crepe fabric (have them on here as well and wearing a size 34). These pants can take you anywhere, from dinner to a black tie wedding, and I am crazy about them! The belt I am wearing is this wide elastic belt with a corset-inspired lace-up front. This belt is great for pants, skirts, and dresses. I’m carrying this black suede clutch with a braid-style motif. It has a removable strap that can also be worn on the shoulder.
The second look is my favorite! How stunning is this 70’s inspired dress in a beautiful evergreen lace (wearing a size 34)? The A-line dress is lined partially throughout the body and back, leaving the sleeves and neckline unlined. Don’t you think this is the perfect Christmas party or Christmas wedding guest dress? This dress is definitely a show stopper! I am carrying the same clutch as above.
I picked out a couple of other things to bring home with me. I can’t tell you how many compliments I have gotten on this 70’s inspired blue striped velvet top with the tulip cuffs. I have worn it with my jeans only at this point, but plan to wear it with a skirt. I did go up in size to a 38 in this top, because of my chest. I could get away with the 36, but the 38 looked better. To add to the top, I bought this ever so chic belt. I took home this rocker-chic faux leather and lace skirt (wearing a size 34). If you are one of the lucky sizes left, you should snap it up because it is on sale! This skirt has a black slip underneath, but can be changed out to a nude color, or worn with leggings underneath and paired with a white shirt for a very Parisian look. Lastly, I have had my eye on this lovely tux style shirt of triacetate crepe for a while. I snagged it (size 36) because I think this is one of those classic shirts that can be worn with so many things.
Hope you all have a great day and thank you for reading the post! xx
Thank you to Anne Fontaine for sponsoring this post.
