Happy Hump Day everyone! I’m telling you, it’s already been a week! I spent the afternoon at the dentist getting a crown yesterday. I mentioned before that I am not a fan of going to the dentist. I absolutely LOVE my dentist! She is the sweetest and most beautiful girl, but I don’t like being in that chair. I also had a massage, which sounds fabulous, but my masseuse is a four foot nothing Korean woman who has the hands of the Hulk. I have no idea how she is so strong! She is so knowledgeable about the body too. I have had some pain in the bottom of my right breast (cancer side), and she was trying to help me figure it out. It was not comfortable, and I hope that this heals up, or back to the doctor for me.
Cinco de Mayo is this Saturday, and I bought this dress for the occasion. Okay, I’m lying! I bought this dress to take to San Miquel de Allende in September for my youngest son’s wedding. I thought it would be so cute to have on hand. You have to agree though; it is a great dress to wear on May 5th! Is your history brain still working? Cinco de Mayo —or the fifth of May—is a holiday that celebrates the date of the Mexican army’s 1862 victory over France at the Battle of Puebla during the Franco-Mexican War (1861-1867). Impress your friends with that! I do love this dress and think that I can wear it all summer and then take it to Mexico to stroll around in. I bought the bag I am carrying off of Etsy last year after seeing it in my daughter in laws closet. It is so well made and roomy and is less than $100. I have also had these Sam Edelman leopard sandals for about three years now. They are still making them because they are classic! I’m not sure you can see them very well, but the earrings I am wearing are Evil Eyes with green stones. I don’t know why, but I have become obsessed with Evil Eyes of late. I am looking for just the right necklace now!
Hope you all have a fantastic Wednesday! xx
