DINA MACKNEY JEWELRY

Wearing the Sleeping Beauty Turquoise Necklace doubled with the adjustable 18K gold plated chain necklace with a cultured Opal Enhancer (available this Spring)

The necklace above is an Aquamarine and Diamond Necklace

I love the Rock Crystal Marquis Enhancer that can be worn with any chain and the Double Rock Crystal Earrings.

These three pieces are gorgeous! The pendant will be at the Neiman Marcus Trunkshow, and is stunning! The faceted Mother of Pearl Doublet Ring is simple but makes a big statement, and the Mother of Pearl Earrings can be worn with anything!

The Rock Star Enhancer is clipped on to the Mixed Metal Chain.
Adjustable 18k Gold Plated Chain
Sterling Silver Flower Pendant will be at the Trunk show
Happy Hump Day! How is everyone? I have been sad the last couple of days. My sweet Cavalier, Kensie, has been dealing with heart issues for the last year. I took her to the vet on Monday, some x-rays were done, and her heart is literally about to explode. She is ten years old, but Cavaliers are known for having bad hearts. She is our third one, but even knowing all of this, it is so sad. The vet said she hopes we get a few more months with her. For now, we are loving on her as much as possible.
On to more fun topics like the jewelry, I am wearing, by Dina Mackney. Dina creates designs for women who wear many hats (like herself). She studied at The Parsons School of Design, the University of Virginia, and the British Institute of Florence in Italy.
Dina embraces and creates fine gemstone jewelry that is dramatic in scale, has beautiful color, but has clean, contemporary lines. She designs fine jewelry set in 22k gold vermeil, fine sterling silver, and solid 18-22k gold. Each of her designs tells a unique story, much like her muse, a confident, modern woman.
Dina’s jewelry has been featured in O, The Oprah Magazine, InStyle, Coastal Living, Conde’ Nast Traveler, The Washington Post, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Palm Beach Post, and other prominent publications. Her jewelry has been worn by celebrities including, Oprah Winfrey, Kate Hudson, Tea Leoni, Norah O’Donnell of CBS This Morning, and musician Grace Potter.
I adore every piece I am wearing and love that many of the pendants have an opening bail enhancer that can be moved from one chain to another.
This weekend in Dallas, Dina Mackney will have a Trunk show from 10 am to 5 pm on both the 7th and 8th at Neiman Marcus Willow Bend. The pieces from the Spring 2017 collection will be available with one of a kind designs from Dina’s studio. Customers who subscribe to the Dina Mackney website will receive 15% off their first online purchase. I will be there on Saturday from 11-1. Would love to see you there!
I hope you all have a great Wednesday! Thank you so much for reading this post!

Beautiful. Especially the ones you wear on the black tee. I love to wear special jewellery on basic clothing.

I’m so sorry about your sweet little dog’s illness. They are truly family members and it’s hard when they are struggling.

You are so sweet, Beth! Thank you so much! They are total members of the family, and it is so sad walking in the door knowing that she is a ticking time bomb. Just breaks my heart! Thank you for your sweet message! xoxo

I feel so sad for you and truly understand how you feel. We have also lost two cavaliers to heart disease. They are such precious dogs and it’s such a shame that they all suffer with heart problems. Our Billy was diagnosed at age seven and with meds he made it to twelve. Our little girl Londy only got to seven. I hope you have more quality time with your Kensie. We had great results with the drug vetmedin.
Enjoy every day as cavaliers are the most loving dogs.
Take care.

Hi, Sarah! Thank you honey! I am so sorry about your cav’s! They are the most precious angel dogs ever! She is our 3rd, and our 2nd died of a heart condition right before she turned 10. I just look at her and wonder when this is going to happen. The vet said, ticking time bomb. She has been on vetmedin for a year now. Have my fingers crossed and am praying she makes it longer. Thank you for your sweet comment!!! xoxo
