Hi, everyone! I hope you had a great weekend! I had the best one! I flew out to California on Friday and attended a conference called FierceCon that celebrates women in mid-life. It was the most inspiring 24 hours that I’ve ever spent! More on that later. Today, I want to share my love of Fig & Lily tees. I have written about the brand before here, but am such a fan of the brand and since fall is upon us, that it needs to be mentioned again.
Fig & Lily makes the most comfortable and soft tees. They are made with soft natural fibers that are sustainably sourced and produced right here in the US. The Supima cotton fibers (the cashmere of cotton) last 35% longer than average cotton and, therefore, make your tees a lot more durable. What I love so much about these tees, besides feeling like soft pajamas, is that they have a longer back and a slimming silhouette. I don’t like tees that don’t cover my bum or are not long enough to stay tucked in. These tees are more relaxed through the hips and tummy and are processed three times to ensure that there is no shrinkage.
I love having tees in colors that I like, but I also think having a classic black (especially in the fall and winter) is key for wearing on their own or layering under jackets and sweaters. I wore this gorgeous blue in the spring, but am mostly a black and white tee girl. They are the perfect piece to wear with a jacket or blazer and come in five other colors. Fig & Lily have a cute World Peace pin ($12 value) and they are offering them for free for two days from the day of this post. If you didn’t try these tees after my first post, try one in the classic black to see how great the quality is! Enter code: MIDDLEPAGE20 for 20% off. You will love them!
Back to the conference, I attended. I didn’t have any idea of what to expect. I was on the schedule to speak with five other women about our life experiences. Let me just say, that there are so many inspiring stories out there! I was blown away! My take away, and what I touched on a bit, is that mid-life is the perfect time to re-invent yourself or dive into something you have wanted to do. Life is so short, and you are robbing yourselves if you have a dream that you aren’t pursuing. There should be no fear. I always ask myself, what do I really have to lose? If I fail, who cares! It’s better to go for it and try than to regret not trying. What is it that you wish you could do? I challenge you to at least think about it!
Have a great Monday! Thank you for reading!
Thank you, Fig & Lily, for sponsoring this post!
