Hello, ladies! I hope your long weekend was fun! We were a little bit low-key, which was just fine with me. We had a date night on Friday at our favorite spot (Al Biernat’s). Also, we have been going there for years (even when we weren’t residents) because my dad and Al were great friends. It feels like “Cheers,” where everyone knows your name! Saturday night was the best night! We (and my mom) babysat our little girl and had so much fun. She was awake most of the night, and it was the first time that she was really smiling! We are hoping to get the chance again this coming weekend. It’s my daughter’s birthday, and I am trying to convince her that she needs a night off!
I can’t wait for the weather to change. It’s still sweltering, but I bet the temperatures go south a bit in the next few weeks. Fall is my favorite time of the year! I ordered this fringe blazer I am wearing to take to Montana to wear at night, but I got the wrong size and had to send it back for the correct one, so it didn’t make it to the mountains. It definitely runs big. I am wearing the 00. I love that it has a western feel to it. The color is great for fall, but the fringe got me (it has fringe in the back as well). It’s the perfect weight for early fall.
I paired it with another Redone graphic tee and my new jeans. I love this style. They are roomy through the legs with a frayed flair bottom and a shadow inset inseam. I bought them at the Paige store but found them here for a lot less (great for you, sucks for me!). My boots are from a few years back but linked to a similar one below.
Are you all watching any good shows?
If you haven’t seen Ted Lasso, I highly recommend it! It is such a feel-good series. We have also been watching The Kominsky Method, which is so good (you will die when you see Kathleen Turner!). We are patiently waiting for some of our other shows to start back up too. I bought a new soft furry blanket to curl up with for cool nights to come and my favorite shows to watch. Hurry up, Fall!
Have a great day! Stay safe and well! xx
