Well, good morning everyone! How was your weekend? I am fricking exhausted! I attended the Reward Style conference over the weekend. It was in Dallas, but a group of us stayed at the Hotel Crescent Court where the event was held. I will get to that in a moment, but I wanted to talk about these adorable white sandals from Katharine Page. I started noticing the brand on Sea of Shoes Instagram page. I figured if Jane Aldridge loved them, they must be a great brand.

When I did some digging about Katharine Page, I found out that she was a horse lover and equestrian. Katharine has always admired the beauty and craftsmanship of the bridles worn by show horses. The bridles were made of the finest leathers to last a lifetime. She had an idea to create a collection of women’s sandals that were inspired by the equestrian leather. The styles had to be modern, elegant, comfortable, and be able to last forever. Designers have always known to look to the equestrian lifestyle for inspiration (think Ralph Lauren), but rarely has a designer known the passion of equestrian life firsthand, until now…

What I like about Katharine Page sandals, is the classic design that will never go out of style. They are very comfortable and are made to last. I love the white pair I am wearing. They will go with every single piece of your summer wardrobe. I love them with my jeans but will be wearing these with summer dresses and skirts too. I didn’t have a pair of white sandals in my closet, and I love how these look and feel. I took my normal size, and they fit perfectly. Look at her website to check out the rest of the shoes. I think these may be my next pair! The cute top I’m wearing is from a brand called, Ellie Kai. This is a convertible top that can be worn a few different ways. And…I love these jeans, which happen to be on SALE!

Back to the weekend… It was non-stop, starting with a cocktail party on Thursday night. Friday morning the sessions started with all 200 of us in a ballroom to hear speakers. I have to brag a second. My daughter is the brand director for Bumble dating app (now a friendship and soon to be a business app too!). She and the founder, Whitney Wolfe, spoke and I was blown away by the duo. This dating-friendship app is so cool! They are all about female empowerment and being kind to one another. You have to read about them HERE. Anyway, my daughter also led a session with another one of my favorites, Courtney Kerr. It was a real proud Mama moment for me to hear her and so fun to be at the same conference!

The rest of the weekend was filled with sessions on blogging matters, like SEO, building a brand, time hacks and more. There were fun lunches sponsored by the Banana Republic and Topshop, and cocktail parties sponsored by Sole Society and Bumble. I did miss the last party of the conference Saturday night, to go to dinner with our whole family to celebrate our son’s engagement. We had the best time and ended the night right back at Hotel Crescent Court where the conference started. Picture below.

I hope you all have a great day! I hope I can stay awake!

Thank you, Katharine Page, for sponsoring this post!
