LEOPARD JACKET // $1000 NORDSTROM GIVEAWAY
Good Morning everyone! Hope you have had a great weekend! Ours was somewhat low-key, but I still feel like a chicken with my head cut off! Why was it when you were a kid, Christmas seemed never to get here, and now, it comes way too fast leaving you stressed and (maybe) sweating the fact that you are super far behind. If that is you, I feel your pain! I know everyone is super busy, so thank you if you are reading this! I will make it super quick. Today, it’s all about this leopard jacket. I am about as passionate about leopard as about anything. I am completely drawn to it and feel that it should be incorporated into your wardrobe and home, even if it’s just a tiny bit.
You remember my great friend Deanna of Well and Worthy Life from a few weeks back. We decided to feature this cute leopard bomber jacket (on sale and ships free!) to show two different looks. Deanna chose to wear hers with a winter white monochromatic look. Wearing all one color, certainly makes that jacket stand out. This could be done with any color, but I think white, red, black, or pink would be great colors to try a monochromatic look with.
I decided to mix the leopard with a floral print blouse in autumnal hues. I think my look is a little more understated, but you still know the jacket is the “hero” piece. I wore my favorite black velvet denim, and my Gucci slides with the fur. I know these slides are not everyone’s cup of tea, but I have worn the crap out of them because they are so cozy and comfortable. Back to leopard print…I think everyone needs a fun little leopard jacket of some sort for the winter. There are so many fabulous faux furs in leopard to choose from right now. I think it’s a fun classic way to add some oomph to your outfit! Linking some others below.
