MONOCHROMATIC LOOK
Happy Monday, and Happy February. Did you watch the Superbowl? Most importantly, what did you think of the halftime show and the commercials? Yesterday was a gloriously sunny day in the high 70’s. It has been so chilly and dreary for the last couple of weeks, so it was so lovely to see and feel the sunshine. It’s short-lived because the rain comes back tomorrow and the high Wednesday is supposed to be 39! Anyway, since yesterday was Groundhog Day and Punxsutawney Phil predicts an early Spring (is he ever right?), I thought I would show this monochromatic look that feels Spring-like to me (because I am in the mood for warmer weather).
You all know that I am a jeans and blazer kind of girl. I am trying to break out wearing jeans all of the time and thought these Alice+Olivia joggers were so cute. I paired them with a white turtleneck and white(ish) booties. I would also wear them with this cardigan, this bomber jacket, and this blazer. Now, I know these joggers might be a little more than you would like to spend, so I found these that look almost identical for under $30, and these that can give you the same sort of look. I also love this puff sleeve turtleneck (that is less than the one I am wearing), maybe more! When the weather starts to heat up, I will wear the joggers with a heel or wedge.
I think that a monochromatic look is always chic.
My favorite colors to wear monochromatic are greys, creams, blues, and of course, black, but cream tones are my all-time favorite. Remember when wearing a monochromatic look, wearing different shades and tints of the same color is what makes it interesting.

I overslept today and hate it when that happens. I think I needed the sleep because I haven’t been sleeping well lately, but it throws my day off. And I have been slowly working my way through my Spring clothes and want to finish that today. We are headed to Florida soon, and I can’t remember what I have or don’t, and I need to fill in what I may need and get rid of what I know I won’t wear (that was wordy!).
I hope you all have a great day and thank you for reading!
