Hey, Y’all, Happy Hump Day! I hope you all are as calm as cucumbers and have all of your wrappings, deliveries, and some cooking well underway! I am slowly starting to gain some steam and catch up a bit. Today, I am so happy to be partnering up with Nordstrom to show you some cold weather pieces to keep you snug as a bug. I am featuring a lighter weight jacket and next week will be showing you what to wear when it is bitter cold. I wanted to be comfy and warm (although it will be warming up this afternoon), but still, look somewhat pulled together as I head out to deliver gifts and run errands, so I grabbed this North Face Insulated Jacket and my J.Crew embellished tartan plaid shirt to hit my To-Do list.
This jacket is the perfect piece to wear when it’s not terribly cold, but you need some warmth. When it gets frigid, you can use it as a mid-layer piece. It has Heatseeker insulation and is topped by a wind-blocking stand collar. I always seem to buy black coats but when I saw this pretty purple/blue color, I thought that I should liven it up a bit! It also comes in a beautiful light grey and black as well.
I am a Nordstrom girl, as you know ( remember this post?) and whenever I am in need of something either for me or a gift for someone, it’s always my first stop. When I went to Nordstrom to look for a coat, I could have bought several, but I had to reel it back! I am linking some others below that I like, but this one also caught my eye because of the beautiful harbor blue color. Many of these coats are on sale!
I love J. Crew shirts and thought this tartan plaid was cute and festive for December (I will continue to wear it, after the holidays, don’t worry!) and if you are a “red” girl, this shirt is so cute too! Both are on sale! I have on my new black booties that I am really enjoying and unfortunately sold out, but this pair looks almost identical and less expensive.
I am out the door to brave the traffic. I hope you all have a great day and we all remember what the season is really about! xx
Thank you, Nordstrom, for sponsoring this post!
