THE PERFECT DATE NIGHT TOP WITH NORDSTROM
Hi, Everyone! Hope your week is going well! We had so much fun at the State Fair with our “littles” on Monday. We let them play games for the cheapest stuffed animals, fed them corn dogs, fried bacon, pizza, and chocolate covered bananas, (hey…their parents were with us!) went to the livestock show (stinky) and rode rides. My grandson was too small to ride (by himself) a ride that went around in a circle kind of fast (ok really fast), so my son and I rode it with him. When it started to speed up, he freaked out and got scared, and I was laughing so hard that I almost peed my pants, and couldn’t speak to console him! I sound like the worst grandmom ever! I couldn’t help it; words would not come out of my mouth!!! Hopefully, he is not scarred for life! Today I wanted to show you all, in my opinion, the perfect date night top.
I couldn’t be happier partnering up with Nordstrom again because date night tops are something that I feel my wardrobe is lacking in and Nordstrom has plenty to choose from. I walk into my closet on those nights and can never find a cute top to wear. I saw this one at Nordstrom and knew that this was the perfect top for that occasion (ha! when we do go out!). The color of this top is so soft and ladylike, and the balloon sleeves are what make this top off the chart fabulous and a show stopper! Coming in at $69 makes it even better! Paired with my AG velvet jeans, I can wear this to most any of our favorite restaurants or a friends home for dinner (anyone asking?). The mules are by Alexander Wang and are very comfortable. I needed a shoe to just slide on in black (dressier than a flat), and thought that I would wear them a lot. Can I tell you, I have worn them every single weekend and more since I got them. It’s one of those pair of shoes that will pay for themselves.
Did I tell you all that I live six blocks from the nicest mall in Dallas? My husband is re-thinking the purchase of our home because I am literally around the corner from Nordstrom! All of these pieces were bought directly from the store, but can be purchased easily online. Whenever I need something to wear, including cosmetics and makeup, the simplest thing for me is a trip to the store. Everything I need is under one roof, and that is easy-peasy! Y’all should totally get this top! It’s a beauty!

I love your blog and your style! This outfit is adorable, and so easy to wear. Wanted to share with you that a similar thing happened to me when I was little in that same kind of ride, and to this day (I’m in my forties LOL) I will not go on it, or most theme park rides for that matter! LOL
