Good Morning everyone! I hope your week is starting in a great way! I wanted to share some brand love today and recommend L’Occitane for great gift giving. I have been a fan of this brand for so many years now and have been obsessed with their shea butter. Okay, first things first…you have to know how to pronounce the brand before you gift it! It’s pronounced lox- ee- tahn. You are so French now! This brand was founded in 1976, by then 23-year old Olivier Baussan who used steam distillation to produce essential oils from wild rosemary and lavender that he sold in open-air markets in Provence. L’Occitane is named for the women of Occitania. His factory and boutique opened in 1981 in Voix, in Provence.
L’Occitane makes great gifts
L’Occitane makes a great gift for everyone on your list, because who doesn’t love a body product that smells amazing? They have fantastic products for women and men, plus fragrances and special holiday gift collections, making it so easy to give a great gift that you know will be used. I want to tell you about my three favorite holiday gift sets ( plus, they are still 20% off for a limited time)
The first set is the Immortelle Divine collection. This is an excellent gift for the woman (or man) that is all about great skincare. This set includes Immortelle Divine Cream, Immortelle Divine Foaming Cleansing Cream, Immortelle Divine Eyes, and Immortelle Divine Youth Oil. These products are formulated with Corsican immortelle that is cultivated in a sustainable way. I previously didn’t know what Immortelle was, but it is a plant that grows in Mediterranean areas that are known to have anti-aging flowers. These products help skin look ageless and youthful.
The second set is the Lavender Holiday Collection. Oliver Baussan, the founder, used lavender as one of the first flowers that he distilled. Provence is on my bucket list, but all I can see in my head when I think of Provence are lavender fields. Can you imagine the smell? Mr. Baussan helps Provence’s heritage by supporting local farmers. This beautiful set comes, Lavender Foaming Bath, Lavender Perfumed Sachet, Lavender Hand Cream, Bonne Mère Lavender Body, Soap, Lavender Cleansing Hand Wash, and Lavender Body Lotion. I am a big believer in lavender before bedtime to help me relax and sleep!
The third set is the Hand Cream Bouquet. This is a selection of iconic hand creams that will keep giving all year long. These hand creams are made with Shea Butter in Burkina Faso that are ethically sourced with fair working conditions for the women who produce the Shea Butter. Always a best seller for L’Occitane, this set comes with Roses et Reines Hand and Nail Cream, Verbena Hand Cream, Almond Delicious Hand Cream, Cherry Blossom Hand Cream, Shea Hand Cream, and Lavender Hand Cream. This hand cream is what I have been obsessed with for years. These are so good for winter hands! This is a smart set to buy because you can gift it as is, or break it apart for stocking stuffers or small gifts.
Some of my favorite L’Occitane products
A few other products that I love from L’Occitane are this Certified Organic Pure Shea Butter. This is a salve like balm that is great to nourish and soften the face, body, and hair. I have some leather and pearl necklaces, and I use it on the leather to help keep it soft and supple too! When we were in the Bahamas this past spring, the home we stayed in supplied the bath products from L’Occitane and my husband and I got hooked on the Verbena Shower Gel. It’s so refreshing and makes your skin smell great! The Immortelle Divine Eye Balm is super for this time of year when you are exhausted. It helps reduce the appearance of dark circles and puffiness (I need to use tons of this right now!)
These are fantastic products and great gifts to give to anyone on your list! I am hanging out here today, still trying to get my house back in order from Thanksgiving. Do you all feel like after your home has been full, it takes a week to get things back the way they were? It does me for me but it is so worth it. I’m also getting my second massage in a week. I have done something to my back and am in quite a bit of pain. If it doesn’t’ feel better in a few days, I guess the chiropractor will be my next stop. I hope you all have a fantastic day today! xx
Thank you to L’Occitane for sponsoring this post.
