Hello everyone! Hope you are having a great week. I never mentioned the party/shower for my son and fiancé that we hosted last Friday. It turned out great, even if it was 97 degrees when it started. Everyone enjoyed the night and were there to show love to my son and fiancé. And lavish them with gifts to help in starting their new life together. So it was all good! Each collection is adorable. And new mamas will want every single one of them. The product is made to order at Huggies MadeByYou.com, taking one to three weeks for delivery. In addition, they come 28 to a box and are only offered in size 1 (8-14 lbs.) for $75. Where were these diapers when my children were babies? At least I can gift them!
Three other bloggers were at the event with me to learn how to throw the perfect baby shower. Supreme party planner Nicole Marie, of Nicole Marie Events, was there to walk us through ideas, tips, and tricks to create the most memorable baby showers. Huggies picked one of the inspired diaper collections for each party theme and designed it for each one of us. Also, each tablescape was incredible, and Nicole Marie had put much thought into each one. Furthermore, she wanted to produce the perfect table for each themed diaper and went way beyond in my opinion!

I’m having a Sip-and-See for a friend’s new baby in a few weeks. And I asked Nicole Marie to come to Dallas (kidding, but not) to help me with the table and decor. Also, I am not the craftiest chick, but I am hoping my shower will resemble a few things that she suggested.

What struck me during our time with the Huggies team, is how genuine their concern for newborns are. Since, they have been in the diaper business for nearly 40 years. And they have thought of every way to make this diaper (and all of their diapers) the most comfortable for a newborn babies skin. Let’s face it, a baby wears a diaper 24/7 and having a soft material against his or her skin is crucial. I am a grandmother of two little stinkers from my oldest son and daughter in law. However, I have two other children who will hopefully contribute to that number in the future.
