CHIC AT EVERY AGE// DL1961 JEANS
Today I am posting a special Chic At Every Age post. The girls and I were asked to partner up with DL1961 jeans. The company asked all of us to pick out a pair of jeans, and wouldn’t you know, we all picked skinnies. Two of us picked blue denim, and two of us a pretty light shade of grey. The day we shot this, our 20 something Ashley, couldn’t make it. Ashley had gone to London for Fashion Week, and came home sick. You can check out her post here on Fashion Week.
So, it’s the three of us, playing off of a pair of skinny jeans. Heather, of Style by Fluent, went with a Boho vibe, wearing the curly shearling jacket, ripped tee, fringe boots, and that gorgeous Chloe bag! Sam, of Style of Sam paired her jeans with a great poncho, booties and that (which by the way, is from !). Sam is the queen of accessorizing too! I wanted to try a look with a hat I had just bought from Accessory Concierge, so I picked this blue by and the suede over the knee boots. I also want to point out my bracelets. The gold Cartier “love” bracelet was given to me by my husband years ago, but the silver one is from and comes in silver, gold, and rose gold. I promise, you can’t tell that they aren’t the real thing!!!
I have to admit something…I have never owned a pair of DL1961 jeans until now. Well, that trend is going to end. I am obsessed with them! I love the way they fit. The jean we are wearing is theJean 28″ instasculpt skinny (instasculpt… meaning, you get a little sculpting in your legs, butt, and midsection!) Sam and I are wearing the color Cole. If you have never tried DL1961, you have to!!!!! I am going to order this particular jean in every color! They are my new FAVORITE denim line! Thank you DL1961 for the amazing jeans!

I, too, am a big fan of DL1961 jeans. I could wear my charcoal grey/black pair nearly every day, but try not too! Although I’ve never tried the style you have on, I do love the color and a little extra sculpting in all the right places never hurt anyone. They could be my next pair. You look terrific in them AND the boots!

Cathy, you are looking so darned cute. Your hair is getting long and lovely .My friend had breast cancer and is a red head. her hair has come back a beautiful silver/grey and she “came out” in her uber short style a few months ago. I tell you , she looks amazing. Interesting , she always wanted to try short hair, but was afraid. and now, with it short, she is loving it! A positive of all she went through. :). “nesting” is probably not a bad thing for you now. Perhaps, you just need to stop and enjoy your new surroundings and breathe. It’s all good.

Hi Cher! Cher, you are so darned nice!!! I am very proud of my hair!!! I am so happy for your friend! Getting to the other side is a great feat, and I know she is loving life! I don’t think I will ever let my hair get passed my shoulders. Am waiting for that length (just to say I got there), but will probably cut it a little shorter.
Thanks for your suggestion on needing to just stop and breathe! Sometimes we need to be reminded of that! And…it is ALL good! xx
