CRAZY BIKER LADY

Okay, I know what you must be thinking…is she out of her mind??? I’m looking at these pictures thinking the same. Here’s the deal, it is hard to dress around a head scarf. First of all, I feel like a pirate (ARRRRGGHHH) or that I should be on the back of a motorcycle when I wear these scarves. Second, my closet was not filled with an arsenal of head wraps, so I am in the collecting stage. I decided to go with the “biker” theme for this week. It does look a little crazy for a woman my age to be wearing this, but I wanted to “ham” it up a bit! I seriously think any “Middle Pager” could pull this off with a great looking jacket like  or .

I have talked about the many kindnesses that I have experienced throughout my cancer battle. Before I started my chemo, I went out with some girlfriends for a long overdue get together. We met the most beautiful mother/daughter duo that night. The daughter is 21, and is living out of state. About four weeks after that meeting, I got a package in the mail with this scarf and a note saying, that she found it in Italy, it was her lucky scarf and that every time she wore it she had a great day. Needless to say, I was BLOWN away, by the kindness of this precious girl!

Why the scarf, when I have the wig? What I have on is not a full wig. It is what is called a “halo”, a half wig (think clown hair). Next week will be the debut of the full wig. WOOHOO!!! Peace out, and say something nice to someone!!!
