LITTLE LAX LATELY

Happy Friday!!! I hope you all are enjoying the spring with the beautiful flowers and warmer temperatures. I love the colors of spring, but am not liking what they are doing to my allergies!!! My eyes are constantly watering. Do you know that if you are suffering from spring allergies, you should wash your hair every night? Pollen lands in your hair, and if you go to bed without washing, you are getting it on your pillow and probably in your face. Why am I just figuring that out?

So I wish I could say that I have been in front of my computer working on blog posts, but, as y’all know, I have been a little lax lately. I am trying to furnish our house in Nashville and it has been pretty time consuming. Thankfully a lot of it can be done through emails. We are still in Dallas and I swear it doesn’t seem like we will ever get to Nashville. We are planning on driving one car there at the end of this month, flying back to Dallas mid-May and driving the other back at the end of May. We are coming back for three things. The first, is an event called STRIPPED (for Breast Cancer). I got to participate in a couple of things for the event. I was part of a video that was filmed (naked from waist up, but they are only showing my scar on my back and my stomach), and I was one of ten women that were asked to do a personal photograph. The event will take place at the Goss Gallery in Dallas, and the photos will be hanging that night. You can read about it HERE. The second thing we are coming back for is our little grand daughter’s christening. She is a doll baby and I can’t wait to see her in the family christening gown! The third is that our oldest son is turning thirty!!! I cannot believe it. I swear he just got out of high school and… can I be that old???

I hope you all have a great weekend! We are off to Austin to help our younger two get settled. Yes, they moved (sigh!)!
