Happy Wednesday Everyone! I know ya’ll are probably sick of me talking about my move and what a s**t show my house looks like right now. We are living in a guest room with the contents of our closets crammed into a room. I don’t know where anything is! I can’t unpack boxes, because we still have work going on in the house. We thought this would all be over last month, but we are sure they will still be here in June! What makes this hard for me, is that I am a “neat freak”, and love everything to have a place. I am really having to practice a lot of patience right now!!!
It’s been strange and fun at the same time, being back in Nashville. We have not lived here in fifteen years, and obviously things have changed! What is really nice though, is that most everywhere I (or we) have been, I have seen someone I know. I know you can’t usually “go back” and it be the same as when you left, but hopefully it will be good in a different way.
So today, my fashion post is the “real” me! This is what I am wearing most every single day (especially now). The older I get, the less I like to get dressed up. What is wrong with me? I am wearing my forever old PAIGE jeans and a comfy shirt by RAILS. This is my go to for running errands and hanging out at home. How cute are these kicks? I don’t know if you can tell, but they are white pony hair with a little gold elastic. They are SO comfortable, and I am obsessed. I have not taken them off since I got them! They also come in pink! I am also loving my monogrammed bag from the sweet people at GRATEFUL BAGS. With GRATEFUL BAGS, you have the ability to choose your own fonts, colors, and initials on interchangeable, acrylic monogrammed plates. I love their clutches too! So Southern, don’t you think? And, love that they give back to charities! I’m also showing off a bit… notice the hair pulled up half way? I am so PROUD that I can finally do it! I can handle the short hair now (it’s about time!!!).
Heading back to Big D for a breast cancer event tomorrow. Will be posting pictures on instagram. Have a great day all!
