Good Monday Morning, and Happy Spring! I say that, but it’s friggin freezing in Nashville! It even sleeted a little yesterday (BOO)!!! Last week I was sweating in Dallas, and now I have to bring out the coats again! I am really longing for the beach right now. Looking at photos on Instagram and Facebook, have made me crave the beach. Just a few more weeks, and I am going to have my turn! How about you all? Aren’t you ready for a Spring that stays put?!

So, the pictures above, were taken two weeks ago when we were in New York. It had snowed the day before, and was frigid and windy the day we shot these. My husband was cozy and warm drinking coffee in a coffee shop, and I was about to die! I am so glad that I got to shoot this look and one more that I will post soon, but the weather and changing facilities were not the best. I changed in that little coffee shop’s bathroom. Believe me, I have changed in worse places, like in the front seat of my little car in broad daylight. Anyway, I loved getting the city scene behind me for these photos (might need a self tan in the worst way!)

I love this  I got at . I paid full price (which wasn’t bad), but it’s now on sale for $39.99. Topshop runs small, so I recommend going up two sizes. I am usually a 0 in dresses, but I bought a 4. It’s a great dress for running around in when the temperatures are warmer (unlike here where it was freezing!). I like to add pieces to my wardrobe that are “no brainers”, and this is one of those. I paired it with my Adidas sneaks, that I am “superstar” obsessed with. What a blast from the past, and they are back in style! I think I had the navy stripes in the 70’s. They are super comfortable, and I have worn them a ton, especially with skinny jeans. Even my kids love them! FYI…they have been sold out everywhere, but the website has many sizes right now (they are $80). I got a size smaller than I usually wear (instead of an 8, i got the 7). I will also wear a or a with this dress. Have you all gotten on the sneaker train yet? If so, which are your favorites?
