On September 29,  the Hair Bar in Dallas along with Susan G. Komen (Dallas County) honored three female cancer survivors with a blowout and Eyes Only make up at the Hair Bar Dallas location. Yours truly was one of them, along with Jan Lucio and DeLese Range, who are both Susan G. Komen volunteers.We were treated to a pink promotion photo shoot along with local bloggers. The bloggers may look familiar to you, because they are the three that are with me every month on my “Chic at Every Age” posts. Heather of  , and Ashley of .

It was such a fun day, and the first real blowout I’ve had since July of 2013. I loved the way my hair looked…no frizz or curl! The make up artist was great and I was crazy about the way she did my eyes. Jan and DeLese looked great after their pampering and I think the three of us will be going back for more!

As part of the partnership with the Hair Bar and Susan G. Komen, one dollar from every service will be given to Susan G. Komen Dallas County from October 1-31. I am very thankful to them both for a “girlie” day, and for helping in finding  a cure.
